FOUR days of road closures will be in place later this month during the Neighbourhood Weekender.

The festival will see a number of routes in Latchford, Howley and Warrington town centre shut between 9am on Friday, May 27, and 1am on Monday, May 30.

Some will be accessible by permit holders only – while Bridge Foot, Bridge Street, Mersey Street, Wash Lane, Vernon Street and a section of Knutsford Road will be fully closed between 10pm and 11.30pm on the three days of the festival in order to allow revellers to leave the site safely.

Vehicles will be prohibited from stopping on this same stretch – between Wilderspool Causeway and Hallaway – as well as Grammar School Road at all times.

Diversions will be in place via Priestley Street, Froghall Lane, Midland Way, Manchester Road, Kingsway North, Kingsway South, Sankey Way, Liverpool Road, Parker Street, Wilson Patten Street, Slutchers Lane, Chester Road, Walton New Road and Walton Road during affected periods.
