GLAMOUR Tries: New Year’s Eve Eyeshadow Tutorial

Taking the gold shade in the Pat McGrath Labs MTHRSHIP MEGA Celestial Odyssey palette, Shei mixes a chunk of it with a few drops of the Duraline liquid. She then applies it straight to her lids and tidies the shape up with a cotton bud, “I am obsessed.”

“I don’t have one of those magnet pens that you can use to pick up gems with and stick them on, so I’m going to use the handle of a brush to apply the lash glue and then use a cotton bud to apply the actual gems.” Shei maps out six dots of lash glue across the crease of her eyelids, then sticks each gem in place and tidies up.

Shei continues, “This Duraline mixing liquid is really useful if you want a really impactful, capturing eye moment – especially if you have dark skin and you’re all about pigment. Secondly, you should use clear lash glue instead of black. And thirdly, I would say if you don’t want to invest in one of those magnet pens then cotton buds are actually a pretty good alternative  you just need a bit of practice.

“I hope that this has inspired you to rock some amazing eye looks this party season and that you have a lovely, festive time with your friends and family!”
