Michael B. Jordan and Chanté Adams star in the drama feature film A Journal for Jordan, which is based on a true story, and it’s no secret many subscribers are enthusiastic to know if the motion picture is one of the many choices available on Netflix.
The feature is directed by Academy Award winner Denzel Washington, and the story written by Mudbound scribe Virgil Williams is based on the memoir A Journal for Jordan: A Story of Love and Honor written by Dana Canedy. In the movie, Jordan plays 1st Sergeant Charles Monroe King, who while deployed in Iraq, writes a journal full of love and wise advice for his infant son. His fiancée Canedy, played by Adams, shares the journal with her child and reflects on her unlikely yet very meaningful connection with King.
Also starring in A Journal for Jordan is a stellar cast including Jalon Christian, Robert Wisdom, Johnny M. Wu, Tamara Tunie, and Marchánt Davis. In addition, the Sony Picture movie with a $25 million budget has a runtime of 131 minutes.
All in all, the heartfelt drama is definitely one of the many well-crafted titles of 2021 that subscribers would love to watch on Netflix, and to see if that’s an option, make sure to keep reading.
