The Shaakuntalam actress has been busy on the work front by signing back-to-back films in Tamil and Telugu.

Samantha celebrated Diwali for the first time after her split with her estranged husband, Naga Chaitanya. The actress took to Instagram to share a few stills from her latest photoshoot. One of the photos features Samantha and her two puppies, Hash and Saasha.

Sharing the photos, Samantha wrote, “Happy Diwali (sic), with a diya emoji. The actress also credited her entire team for dolling her up for the day.

Samantha was last seen in directors Raj and DK’s The Family Man 2, which is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. A few months ago, she wrapped up the shooting of director Gunasekar’s Shaakuntalam. She is also waiting for the release of director Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.

In October, Samantha signed two back-to-back bilingual films. She will be teaming up with director duo Hari-Harish and Shantharuban, respectively.
