UFC Vegas 56: Karolina Kowalkiewicz submits Felice Herrig for win
Quick and hard-hitting seemed to be in the gameplan of Tony Gravely, as he drops and finishes Johnny Munoz in just over a minute at UFC Vegas 56
Tony Gravely produced quite the highlight during his battle on the UFC Vegas 56 preliminary card, needing just 68 seconds to put away Johnny Munoz.
Just over a minute in, Munoz attempted to come inside on Gravely, only for Gravely to land a quick uppercut on the button that dropped Munoz and put him away.
“I’ve been telling my wife this entire time, ‘I came here to kill this man,’ Gravely said in his post-fight interview. “And if the ref hadn’t pulled me off, I would have.”

Gravely produced a lot of forwarding pressure in spite of Munoz’s leg kicks early on.
The finishing uppercut had produced confusion live at first considering how quick, sudden and sneaky it was.
Gravely has now two straight and four of his last five. He now has a 4-2 record in the Octagon since a win on season three of Dana White’s Contender Series.
